Yes, I took a picture of my creation. |
Considering my sister is probably the only person that religiously reads these posts, I figured I would try out a recipe that she has made before. Low Fat Baked Ziti with Spinach!
Except I couldn't find ziti anywhere, so I used fettucine instead! Yum. No need to point out the mistakes I made along the way- so long as it's made clear that this dish was AMAZING. I happened to have made far too much as well, so it lasted two dinners and a lunch for both Ziggs and me. Good for us.
I also decided to cook for my friends again! Right from scratch, I made Skinny Tuna Noodle Casserole. The only humungo mistake I made was that I invited far too many people over to join us for lunch and this dish had to end up feeding six of us. Next time, I will think of that PRIOR to serving the food, and double the recipe. Although it must be said, and I am sorry mom, but this might just be better than the tuna casserole that you make! It was such a shame that I ran out of food before everyone had filled their bellies. LUCKY FOR THEM I could whip up some D.E.LICOUS brownies for dessert. This time they were the type of brownies that don't leave Ziggs threatening to kick me out of the house ;)
Now I would love to continue this cooking addiction, but unfortunately I am midway through a fantastic book, and I simply must find out how it ends. You know you're not living on the edge when you would rather sit on a couch and read than interact with others. OH WELL serial killers have a twisted pull on me and there is nothing I can do about it!
